Microsoft and SSE

Microsoft has developed SSE (Simple Sharing Extensions) and is providing it under Creative Commons license. While RSS is unidirectional publishing, SSE offers multi-directional synchronization of items. With SSE, users can synchronize calendars and contact lists etc. Read CTO Ray Ozzie’s blog post on SSE.
