Google becomes no. 1 brand - Beats Apple to the top spot.

A recent survey with a limited sample size of 2500 placed Google as the no. 1 brand, ahead of last years leader Apple. The highest new entrant to the top 5 was Skype - ahead of other top brands like Starbucks and IKEA.

Although this is a very small sample size, but serves as an indication of the reach and brand visibility of technology companies.
