The CueBlocks Credo

CueBlocks is founded on certain values and beliefs which we have imbibed in our lifetime. These are the guiding principles and code of conduct that CueBlocks is based on.

We tried to trim this page to make it shorter for our visitors– but decided to let it be after a few attempts to compress it. We thought that anyone who would want to start a long term relationship with CueBlocks wouldn´t really mind spending a couple of more minutes getting to know us better. :–)

We want to conduct ourselves by these values and beliefs at all times. It is said that it is easy to “know” and “talk the path”... but it is more worthy and difficult to “be” and “walk the path”. We strive to “be”.

Our Credo is encapsulated in the following:

  • Big picture perspective – Start with the end in mind; to not lose perspective of the big picture while paying a lot of importance to placing of the nuts and bolts. The same approach trickles down to how we look at marketing plans for our clients, sales, research, project management and the way we view setbacks and achievements.
  • Never rule out ideas – Ideas and constant innovations fuel the CueBlocks engine. We are an “ideas team” and couple it well with an ability to implement most of what we think of. You would often see us actively bouncing of ideas and possibilities. Some ideas that we come up with at times, however, are either too outlandish or too expensive to implement. These are quickly booted and relegated to our “to be reviewed later” section. We realize that you need to come up with many ideas (several bad ones initially) to eventually hit on a good one.
  • Celebrate life and beginnings – We rarely miss out on an opportunity to celebrate. We want to live life to the fullest!!! We are young now and would stay young longer [at least at heart :-) ] if we lived fuller. How do we do that? By living each moment at a time, focusing on what we are doing, enjoying it and giving it our complete self – be it planning out a detailed marketing plan for a client, executing a difficult module of a project, trying to comprehend the next big thing on the web, partying, playing street football, or listening to a song.
  • Be Honest in all Dealings – We conduct ourselves with utmost honesty. Sometimes shortcuts tempt immediate returns. However, even at the cost of sacrificing short term quick gains, we know that an honest approach will always hold us in good stead in the long run. We would never compromise on this! Even at the cost of losing business, we won´t suggest a strategy which we feel is not relevant to our client. Our recommendations often include services that we do not offer but we feel our clients should invest in. There isn´t a softer pillow in the world than a clear conscience.
  • Passion and enthusiasm – We tremendously enjoy what we do at CueBlocks. The fact that it is a means of living is co-incidental. We are also inspired when we see the same spark in our interactions with other people.
  • Appreciate the lighter side of life – Ah. If only we all laughed much more!!! We don´t want to lose our sense of humor and ability to look at the lighter sides of life and things around us.
  • Value Talent – We believe that one´s grey matter is more important than any other qualification. Ability, efficiency and value are not necessarily reflected by one´s clothes, qualification or age.
  • Quest for Knowledge and Wisdom – To constantly work on enhancing our knowledge and timely application of that knowledge to help solve problems. We believe that standing “still” is being “obsolete”.
  • Foster active Social ties – To give back to our community and society in any means possible. At CueBlocks we involve ourselves in various causes which would have direct social implications. This includes, but does not limit to, involvement in social organizations, environment issues, education, corporate social responsibility etc.
