Riding high on the quality of its BPO services, India is now attracting high end knowledge work as well. KPO or Knowledge Process Outsourcing, which refers to the outsourcing of high end services such as market research, research and development, data analytics, intellectual property rights (IPR) etc., is the next big wave after BPO for Indian ITES industry. The outsourcing of a large number of KPO projects to Indian firms is a direct consequence of the recognition of India’s high quality and cheap intellectual capital.
